The gerber output is adding ".art" to the end of the files names. How can I turn this off?

 

Solution

The default extension .art is used by the PCB editor. You can specify a different extension by setting the variable ext_artwork in the User Preferences.

  1. Select the menu items: Setup > User Preferences.
  2. Expand the File_management folder and select Versioning.  
  3. Set the desired file extension in the value field for ext_artwork.
