I am attempting to open a PDF file in CircuitSpace. However, I am receiving a message that states, “Error: Could not initialize communication.”   

 

Solution

To resolve this error, complete the steps described below.

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat and select the menu item: Edit > Preferences.



  2. Click to select the Category: Security (Enhanced).

  3. Uncheck the Enable Protected Mode at Startup check box.

  4. When you are prompted to restart the Adobe Reader application, click Yes.
