Question
When I select Display > 3D Canvas, the Silkscreen Top reference designator text is missing.
Solution
The photoplot width of the ref des text is set to “0” and needs to be changed to a value as as described in the steps that follow.
To edit the text
- Select the menu items Setup > Design Parameters. Your menu selection opens the Design Parameter Editor.
- Open the Text tab.
- Click the Ellipsis button for Setup text sizes. Your selection opens the Text Setup dialog.
- For example, if the silkscreen text is using text block #3, enter a non-zero Photo Width value. The screen image above shows the entry of a Photo Width of 5.00 as an example.
- Verify the display of the silkscreen top text ref des by viewing the 3D canvas.
