Question

I am using Allegro PCP Editor. I have elongated voids shaped as a long, continuous opening. I need to place copper between the pads. How can I accomplish this?

 

The screen image below shows the elongated voids in the plane.  



 

Solution

To place copper between the pads:

  1. Select the menu items: Shape > Global Dynamic Parameters.

  2. Open the Void Controls tab.



  3. Set the Create pin voids option to “Individually.”

  4. Click the Apply and OK buttons to save the setting.
