Problem

I haven’t used CIP in a while and forgot my password. I am now unable to login.  


Solution

You can log in under any CIP Administrator account (including “Admin” if it’s still active) to manually reset the password for your account or request your CIP Administrator reset it for you. 


If you’re the administrator for your CIP configuration and you’ve lost the Admin password, you can use the Admin_Reset.exe utility on the CIP Server to reset the “Admin” user credentials to the defaults. Once that’s completed, you can login and reset passwords as you need to. Be aware that you’ll need to have “sa” access to the SQL Server to run this script.
