When Capture is unable to launch, you can sometimes successfully launch Capture after refreshing the Capture environment as described below.
- Open your Windows File Explorer. Enter %HOME% into the address bar located at the top of the window and press your keyboard Enter key.
- Open the cdssetup\OrCAD_Capture directory and then open the folder version for which you want to reset the environment.
- Find the Capture.ini file (Also seen as the Configuration Setting file if extensions are not visible). Rename the Capture.ini file to OLDCapture.ini.
- Relaunch Capture. A new Capture.ini file and environment is created.
