I am attempting to troubleshoot an OrCAD licensing issue. Our debug file is reporting a Winsock error. What does this mean?
When a debug file reports a Winsock error the issue is almost always an Anti-Virus, Firewall issue or the port is already in use.
EMA Technical Support is unable to directly work on a customer’s firewall settings or AV settings. We can only verify the factor causing the issue through customer-approved testing.
