Question

When I open Capture, I am receiving a message that says I have a script error.  How can I correct this issue?

 

Answer

This type of error may be corrected by disabling the Start Page as follows.
 

  1. Open Capture and the session log.

    Note: The Session Log is accessed from the menu: Window > Session log. The directory of the session log also includes the .ini file spinfo.ini.  Note the path to this directory.

  2. Open the spinfo.ini file in a text editor such as Notepad.

  3. Add the following lines to the file contents:
    [Start Page]
    EnableStartPage=false

  4. Save the file and close Notepad.

  5. Open Capture. Capture should open without the scripting error.
